Officers from A-15 Nab Breaking and Entering Suspect and Recover Stolen Goods in Charlestown

On the evening of Friday, February 2, 2024, at approximately 4:41 PM, officers from District A-15 (Charlestown) arrested Glenn Robert Ghizzoni, a 33-year-old resident of Plainville, on charges related to Breaking and Entering.

In response to reports of a Breaking and Entering in progress at 50 Terminal St in Charlestown, officers were guided by witnesses on the scene who provided information about the suspect. The individual had previously broken into a storage unit within the building earlier that day, prompting the initial police response, and had returned. Effectively creating a perimeter around the building and securing all entrances, the officers located and arrested the suspect as he descended a stairway. Furthermore, the officers discovered the items stolen earlier in the day inside the suspect’s motor vehicle, parked outside the building.

The charges against Ghizzoni include Breaking and Entering in the Daytime, receiving stolen property exceeding $1200, and possession of a class A substance. The suspect is slated to face arraignment at Charlestown Municipal Court.
