At about 12:19 PM, on Thursday, December 21, 2023, officers assigned to the Drug Control Units of District C-6 (South Boston) and C-11 (Dorchester) arrested Alvin McCray, 43, of Dorchester, on drug trafficking charges.
Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation and execution of search warrants in the area of 1591 Dorchester Avenue. As a result of the search warrants, officers recovered approximately 25 grams of Crack Cocaine, and about $1,904 in US currency.
McCray was placed under arrest and charged with: Trafficking of class B, and possession with intent to distribute class B. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester District Court.
