At about 12:43 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, officers assigned District B-3 (Mattapan) made an onsite warrant arrest of Giovannie Cordova, 20, of Hyde Park, in the area of 13 Westcott Street. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants sought out of Boston Municipal Court for unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of Ammunition, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, assault with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of destruction of property.
The suspect had been recently highlighted on a BPD Most Wanted List and is expected to appear in Dorchester District Court for arraignment.
