Investigation Update: At about 3:05 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, Members of the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested Emmanuel Casseus, 33, of Hyde Park. Who was wanted on a warrant issued from Suffolk Superior Court for: Murder and Carrying a Firearm without a License. Casseus is expected to be arraigned in Suffolk Superior Court tomorrow morning.
This is the third arrest related to this homicide as the Boston Police Fugitive unit previously arrested both Pierre Valbrun, 20, of Roxbury and Jonathan Thebaud 32, of Brockton on Wednesday, June 29, 2022.
The facts and circumstances surrounding the original incident are as follows: At about 2:58 PM on Sunday, October 10, 2021, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a report of a person shot in the area of 26 Ayles Road in Hyde Park. On arrival, officers located Trevon De Michael Sands, 20, of Hyde Park suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
