Officers were conducting an ongoing drug investigation in the area of 103 Arch Street in response to complaints of drug activity. Officers approached the other suspect, and placed him into handcuffs for the distribution of class B. The suspect’s motor vehicle was parked in an expired meter parking spot. After further investigation, officers recovered a firearm from inside the motor vehicle. The firearm was later determined to be a Smith & Wesson M&P with six rounds in the magazine. Officers also recovered crack cocaine, oxycodone pills, and approximately $463 in U.S. currency.
Slaughter was placed under arrest and charged with: Unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number, possession of class B and distribution of class B. He is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
