BPD Community Advisory: Detectives Assigned to District E-5 Are Investigating a Report of a Suspicious Person/Activity in West Roxbury

BPD Community Advisory: Detectives assigned to District E-5 (Roslindale/West Roxbury) are investigating a report of a suspicious person/activity that occurred this morning in the area of Broadlawn Park, West Roxbury. Officers responded to a report of a juvenile who was walking to a bus stop located in the area of Bryon Road when an unknown male waved her over to his car. When the victim refused, the victim stated the suspect began to chase after her. The victim was able to safely get away, and officers searched the area to no avail. The suspect is described as an older black male, bald, unknown clothing, operating a grey SUV/Minivan.

The Boston Police Department is reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District E-5 Detectives at (617) 343-4566.
