Investigation Update: Victim Identified In Corona Street Homicide

At approximately 2:06 pm on Friday October 13, 2023 Officers assigned to District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 46 Corona St. Upon arrival the officers located an adult male victim suffering from life threatening gunshot wounds, full notifications were made. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim has since been identified as James Jones, 30, of Dorchester.

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this shooting. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit ay 617-343-4470.
