Congratulations to all the police officers recognized at this year’s Trooper George L. Hanna Memorial Awards for Bravery which were held on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 in Worcester. Several Boston Police Officers were honored and recognized for their bravery and courage.

Officer Jamie Pietroski – Medal of Valor
This award recognizes officers from around Massachusetts whose actions have demonstrated bravery above and beyond expectations and for that they are to be commended. Massachusetts State Trooper George L. Hanna, for whom the awards are named after, was killed during a traffic stop in Auburn, Massachusetts in 1983.
