BPD in the Community: Police Commissioner Cox and Superintendent Nora Baston were recently honored by the Boston Area Church League at their 21st annual luncheon. Commissioner Cox who was the Key Note Speaker. and the recipient of the Ted William Home Run for Humanity Award 2024. The awardees were acknowledged on the field at the Red Sox game that evening and were joined by some of the kids who play in the League. The baseball league began more than 10 years ago and gives Boston Police Officers the opportunity to coach and mentor the youth who take part.
