BPD in the Community: Members of the Command Staff & Officers assigned to District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) hosted Coffee With A Cop today along with the community elders at the Nate Smith House (155 Lamartine Street) as part of the national Faith and Blue week of events. Everyone got to enjoy some delicious Coffee and pastries; there was also music, prayer & some songs led by one of our Officers who is also a Pastor.
The community was quick to engage clapping and dancing along. Many community members in attendance stepped up to the microphone to thank the BPD and express their appreciation for the event and the engagement with them as a community of Faith.
