BPD in the Community: Commissioner Cox, Captain Cogavin and officers assigned to the Community Service of District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) assisted with the American Legion’s First Responder Appreciation Community Cookout at the American Legion Post 76 in Jamaica Plain (280 South St).
The event was complete with free food, junior police sticker badges, a jump castle for the kids, cornhole tournaments, several heavy duty tow trucks from Todisco, Boston Fire Trucks, and demonstrations from the Boston Police Explosive Ordnance Unit, K-9 Unit, and the SWAT team.
