BPD Community Alert: Detectives Assigned to District D-14 Seek the Public’s Help to Identify An Individual Following a Larceny of a $70,000 Viola in Brighton

BPD Community Alert: Detectives assigned to District D-14 (Allston/Brighton) are seeking the public’s help to identify the individual in the images above in relation to a Larceny incident that occurred between 2:50AM-3:50PM on Sunday, August 27, 2023, in the area of 120 Glenville Avenue. The Viola that was stolen is valued at $70,000, and is described as 16.5 inches long and stored inside a black BAM Black Panther High Tech case valued at $1,300 with two (2) Boston University stickers, and a Vivant Vintage sticker.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 30-40 years old, approximately 5’09”-6’0″, stocky build, light moustache and beard, dark colored curly hair, and dark blue tattoos on his forearms.

The suspect was last seen at about 3:00 PM on Friday, September 15, 2023, in the area of Harvard Avenue, Allston. He was last seen wearing hoop earrings, a black t-shirt, dark blue shorts, black socks, white sneakers, and operating a black scooter.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District D-14 Detectives at (617) 343-4256.
