BPD in the Community: Sgt. Ed McMahon addresses a house of new Boston College Off-Campus students to talk to them about being safe this school year. Officers at District D-14 (Brighton) have been conducting these visits for the last few years. These visits have proven to be very effective in reducing incidents involving students. The main goal for the visits is to improve the quality of life for our growing population of students and long term residents of the city.
