At about 4:04 PM, on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) arrested three juveniles on armed robbery charges.
Officers responded to the area of 38 Cleveland Street for a report of an Armed Robbery in progress. Officers were advised by Operations of a description of the three suspects, and that a knife was displayed to rob the victim.
Officers canvassed the area and located the suspects at the intersection of Reservation Road and Business Street. One of the suspects attempted to flee on a bicycle, but all three suspects were stopped by officers and handcuffed.
The two 16-year-olds and 15-year-old were placed under arrest and charged with; Delinquent to wit; Armed Robbery. One juvenile will also be charged with Delinquent to wit; Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon. They are expected to be arraigned in West Roxbury District Court.
It was later determined that another similar incident had been reported and the suspects will also be additionally charged.
