BPD in the Community: Commissioner Cox and members of the BPD’s current class of police recruits were pleased to join TD Garden Neighborhood Charities along with The Salvation Army Massachusetts Division and our other partners from Boston Public Schools and the City of Boston for the 12th Annual Back-to-School Celebration. The event equips thousands of local students to go back to school.
This event is open to all students and families in Boston neighborhoods. The Back-to-School Celebration is a fun day where families in need can get school supplies, access to resources, a brand new winter coat and to have fun at the same time!
The Celtics and Bruins mascots, Lucky and Blades were also part of the fun!
