BPD Community Alert: Detectives Assigned to District D-4 Seek the Public’s Help to Identify an Individual and Locate a Dog Following a Larceny of a Dog in the Back Bay

BPD Community Alert: Detectives assigned to District D-4 (South End) are seeking the public’s help to identify the individual in the image above in relation to a Larceny of a Dog that occurred at about 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 5, 2023, in the area of 15 Westland Avenue. The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in efforts to locate a dog named “Alejandro” who is a Chihuahua and is described as tan and white haired. The dog was last seen at about 11:00 AM in the area of Massachusetts Avenue and Melnea Cass Boulevard.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District D-4 Detectives at (617) 343-5619.
