At about 10:04 PM, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, officers assigned to the District B-2 (Roxbury), arrested Todd Hill, 54, of Boston on firearm and violation of the auto laws charges.
Officers were on patrol in the area of Dudley Street and Magazine Street when they observed a motor vehicle traveling on Dudley St. commit several violations of the auto laws. Officers activated their emergency lights and sirens to initiate a traffic stop which was eventually performed at 45 Woodward Street. The operator of the vehicle informed officers that he did not have a valid Massachusetts driver’s license at the time of the stop.
Officers confirmed that the driver was unlicensed and instructed him to exit the motor vehicle and placed him under arrest. During a search incident to arrest, officers located, and recovered, a Taurus PT11G2 9mm loaded firearm. The firearm was later discovered to be stolen from an incident in South Carolina.
Todd Hill was charged with; Carrying a Loaded Firearm without a License, Firearm Violation with 3 Prior Violent/Drug Crimes, Possession of a Large Capacity Firearm, Possession of Ammunition, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Receiving Stolen Property to wit: He is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court.
