CANCEL BPD Wanted ALERT – Olguens Joseph Has Turned Himself In

CANCEL BPD ALERT: Olguens Joseph was wanted on a straight warrant out of West Roxbury District Court for Motor Vehicle Homicide by Negligent Operation, Leaving the Scene of Personal Injury & Death, and Operation of an Unregistered/Uninsured Motor Vehicle in relation to an incident that occurred on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Circumstance Surrounding the Incident: Death Investigation in the area of 165 Wood Avenue, Hyde Park

At about 9:30 PM, on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, officers assigned to District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to the area of 165 Wood Avenue for a report of a Child struck by a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located 4-year-old male suffering life-threatening injuries due to being struck by a motor vehicle. The victim was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased. Preliminary investigation is that the suspects motor vehicle struck the child, did not stop, and fled the area.
