BPD in the Community: Police Commissioner Cox and members of the Boston Police Department joined more than 100 volunteers from the Puerto Rican Festival of Massachusetts, Llego Boston, kids who participate in We Belong and various other BPD youth programs, as well as other members of the community to bag up 15,000 pounds of food donated by Goya foods to be distributed to those in need around Boston. Boston Police Community Service Officers then took the bags back to the City’s various neighborhoods and delivered them to individuals and families in need. Thank you to Goya for this generous donation to our residents and to the Talbot Avenue Boys and Girls Club for all the help and for providing the space to hold this great community event.
