Investigation Update: Victim Identified Following Fatal Shooting in the Area of 27 McGreevey Way in Roxbury

At about 12:12 AM, on Saturday, July 1, 2023, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to 27 McGreevey Way for a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located two adult males suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to local hospitals where one victim was pronounced dead. That victim has since been identified as Nelson Jose Curet, 30, of Roxbury. The second victim’s injuries are considered non-life threatening.
