Coordinated Effort by Officers Assigned to District D-4 and Numerous Specialized Units Results in Safe Two-Night Concert Series at Fenway Park

Over this past weekend, officers assigned to District D-4 (South End) and numerous specialized units worked diligently to provide a safe experience for those attending or working a two-night concert series at Fenway Park.

District officers assigned to event security, both inside the park and on fixed posts in the area, responded to numerous sick assist calls in coordination with Boston EMS. Members of the BPD K-9 Unit performed several protective sweeps of the venue and surrounding areas. Officers assigned to the BPD Hazmat Unit located and recovered more than 100 nitrous tanks which were then safely turned over to the Boston Fire Department. BPD Drug Control Unit officers worked tirelessly to curb the buying and selling of illegal drugs utilizing numerous investigative methods and arrested the following suspects on drug-related charges:

Bryan Rollins, 40, of Berklee, CA, Clifford Brown, 61, of Synder, MA, and Robert Elliott, 40, of Belding, MI, were all arrested and charged with Distribution of Class B Drugs and Possession with Intent to Distribute Class B Drugs.

Additionally, Devin Pastagal, 35, of Gloucester, MA, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (2 Counts) and Assault and Battery (2 Counts).

All parties will appear in Roxbury District Court for Arraignment.
