The Boston Police Department honored the bravery of some of its own today in a ceremony celebrating community policing and service to the residents of our City. The Commendation Ceremony took place at the Kroc Center for the second time this year. Commissioner Cox presented commendations to officers and detectives for apprehending violent suspects involved in stabbings, shootings, and firearm arrests. Multiple joint coordination’s with Officers, BRIC intelligence, keen observations and language skills led to the apprehension of a dangerous suspect. Lifesaving tactics with assistance of Boston EMS, the administering of emergency medical attention as well as for ending a dangerous domestic dispute safely.
