BPD in the Community: Commissioner Cox, members of the BPD Command Staff and District leadership were pleased to join Mayor Wu and Suffolk County District Attorney Hayden to help celebrate three years of monthly meetings with Charlestown based non-profit “Turn It Around” for Race & Equity Discussions. The group has been bringing together diverse community members, youth and police to meet in a circle at the Charlestown Peace Park since 2020 to have frank discussions about some tough topics. We are grateful for the open dialogues we have shared over the last three years and look forward to working together moving forward.
