For First Night Boston 2021 the Boston Police Department is reminding our community members to celebrate responsibly. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 health emergency, this year’s First Night will be celebrated virtually, but that does not mean the BPD will be decreasing patrols. With an emphasis on maintaining physical and social distancing while taking into consideration Mayor Walsh’s stay at home advisory, community members are asked to adhere to these stipulations to further reduce the spread of infection. The men and women of the BPD will be on patrol in our neighborhoods to maintain the safety of all of our residents and community members.
