Boston Police Homicide Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a motor vehicle of interest to an ongoing homicide investigation.
Circumstance surrounding the incident: At about 12:34 AM on Sunday, August 22, 2021, officers assigned to District B-3 responded to a call for a person shot in the area of Woodbole Avenue in Mattapan. On arrival, officers located a male victim, Antonni Diaz, 30, of Mattapan, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital. Late last night, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
