
Investigation Update: At about 8:45 PM on Monday June 7, 2021, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 1510 Tremont Street in Roxbury. On arrival, officers learned that an adult male victim, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, had presented himself at a local area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The victim has since been identified as Fermin Baez, 32, of Dorchester.
The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident and is asking anyone with information relative to this investigation to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at (617) 343-4470.
