Great Work Recognized: On Thursday June 3, 2021, the 9th Annual Spirit of MAWLE (Massachusetts Association of Women in Law Enforcement) Awards Ceremony was held at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton, MA. This Award Ceremony celebrates the outstanding achievements of women in law enforcement throughout Massachusetts. The Spirit of MAWLE Award is given in the following six areas of Leadership, Mentoring, Courage, Community Service, Excellence in Performance and Civilian Achievement.
The BPD is proud to announce that one of our officers and two civilian employees were honored with special recognition awards and certificates for their ongoing service to the department and the City of Boston.
