Yesterday around 12:47PM, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to the intersection of Dudley and Warren Streets.
On arrival, officers approached the two parties involved in the accident and started assisting them with the exchange of information. While assisting the parties to the accident, one of the parties approached the other and started speaking in Spanish. The suspect operator, not realizing that one of the officers at the scene spoke Spanish, stated to the other, “I’m gonna kick you (expletive) as soon as the police roll away!” The victim at that time responded by saying, “I don’t know you!” but the suspect operator again repeated his threats exclaiming, “You have no idea what’s coming to you when the police leave and I don’t care!” the suspect the struck the victim in the face apparently unable to wait until officers left the scene.
The suspect, William Sangertri, 47 of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery and Threats.
