On Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 1:08am, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for shots fired near Ware Street in Dorchester. Officers proceeded to the area of Ware Street and Trull Street where they were flagged down by several individuals in front of 22 Trull Street. Once there, officers observed a black non-Hispanic male, approximately 23 years-old, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries. The victim has since been identified as Edmund Andrade, 23, of Boston.
