On April 10, 2011, the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center (BARCC) will present the Boston Police Sexual Assault Unit with the Beacon Award: In recognition of outstanding leadership in advancing the rights of sexual and violence survivors.
The Unit will receive this recognition at BARCC\’s annual \’Walk for Change\’, a fundraiser that provides visible support to survivors and bring people committed to ending sexual violence together. The Boston Police Department is grateful for its ongoing partnership with BARCC.
