BOSTON POLICE EXTEND DEADLINE FOR ‘TOYS FOR TOTS’ DONATIONS

The Boston Police Department has extended its collection deadline for ‘Toys for Tots’ donations.  The department will now be accepting toys until Friday, December 17th. The department has found that families need for assistance has become greater every year. Donations have also declined during this difficult fiscal time.  The Boston Police Department is grateful for all contributions to this important holiday initiative.

The Department is collecting new, unwrapped toys which will be categorized by age and gender and distributed to individual families in need who reside in the City of Boston.

All donations should be left at the drop-off boxes at local Police Districts and/or Boston Police Headquarters.

Any questions about this program should be directed to the Office of the Police Commissioner by calling 617-343-4500.

Thank you for your support.
