Man Arrested On Firearm Charges

Within recent time, members of the Boston Police Department B-2 (Roxbury) conducted an investigation regarding information pertaining to an individual who was believed to be in possession of a firearm. Through their investigation it was learned that this party may be concealing the firearm within his 44 Copeland Street, Roxbury residence.

On May 4, 2010, at approximately 8:29pm, Boston Police Officers responded to 44 Copeland Street, Roxbury to execute a court ordered search warrant.

The officers made a peaceful entry and conducted their search. As a result, a 9mm silver & black firearm was located hidden in the suspect’s bedroom. A fully loaded ammunition magazine was located within the firearm.

Officer’s arrested Korey Wornum-Parker, 19, of 44 Copeland Street, Roxbury was arrested on the charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
