FAMILY FEUD LANDS TWO IN JAIL FOR BREAKING AND ENTERING
At about 9:45pm, on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, officers from Area E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a domestic disturbance in the area of 162 Roslindale Ave. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that her daughter and her daughter’s son broke into her home by breaking the front door. The victim says her grandson cut his arm as he pushed in the door. Officers observed a broken glass on the front door. According to the victim, once inside, the suspects proceeded to rip the heating thermostat of the wall and steal a space heater. The victim further stated that she had been having problems with her daughter and when she (the daughter) exited her apartment, the daughter pushed her down. Officers located both suspects in the immediate area. Upon seeing him, officers observed and noted that the was bleeding from his forearm and hand.
Officers arrested Karen Joyce, 45, of Boston and Connor Joyce, 18, of Boston and charged both with Breaking & Entering, Destruction of Property and Assault & Battery.
