POLICE ARREST TWO FOR PROVIDING BOOZE TO MINORS
At about 1:30am, on Sunday, December 6, 2009, officers from Area B (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a loud party in the area of 60 Hillside Street. On arrival, officers observed several people in front of the location drinking. Additionally, officers heard loud music emanating from the premise. Upon entering the premise, officers observed what appeared to be several college-aged kids drinking open containers of beer. Officers then sought out the owners or legal tenants of the apartment. Upon locating the legal tenants, officers informed them that they were being held responsible for holding a party in which alcohol was supplied and provided to underage party-goers.
As such, officers arrested and charged Mike Dodato, 20, of Boston and Ben Dancer, 21, of Boston with Being Keepers of Disorderly House and Providing Alcohol to Minors.
FAMILY MEMBER ARRESTED FOR STEALING LAP TOP COMPUTER
At about 6:47pm, Sunday, December 6, 2009, officers from Area E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to a radio call for a larceny in the area of 92 Greenfield Ave. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that a family member stole her lap top computer. When the victim confronted the family member, the family member readily admitted, “I stole it and sold it.” Upon speaking to the suspect, officers learned that the suspect had sold the computer for $200.00.
Officers arrested a 14 year-old male from Boston and charged him with Larceny.
