DAILY INCIDENTS FOR THURSDAY, AUGUST 6, 2009

DESTRUCTIVE PEDESTRIAN ARRESTED IN EASTIE At about 1:30am, on Thursday, August 6, 2009, officers from Area A-7 (East Boston) responded to a radio call for a pedestrian punching a car in the area of Prescott Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the motorist who stated she was driving along Prescott Street when she observed two pedestrian looking to cross the street. As a result, the motorist/victim says she slowed her motor vehicle to allow the pedestrians to cross. The victim further states that, as the pedestrians were crossing the street, one of the pedestrians struck her car, breaking the driver-side mirror off the car. Officers observed damage to the mirror. The victim then pointed to the suspect who was still in the area.
Officers arrested Frank Patino, 26, of Lynn and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
PUNCHING HOLES IN A WALL LANDS ONE BEHIND BARS IN DORCHESTER
At about 10:46pm, on Wednesday, August 5, 2009, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a family member out of control in the area of 17 Woodhaven Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the parents of a 23 year-old son who was out of control. According to the parents, their son was upset, yelling, screaming and punching holes in his bedroom walls. Officers noted and observed that the suspect’s room was in utter disarray. When officers attempted to speak to the suspect, the suspect proceeded to verbally disrespect and disparage the officers. An examination of the suspect’s right hand enabled officers to take note of a visible injury on the suspect’s knuckles.
Officers arrested Montrez Thigpen, 23, of Boston and charged him with the Willful & Malicious Destruction of Property.
