WHO: Boston Police detective and Fraud Awareness expert Steve Blair; more than 200 representatives from local Retail stores, hotel security, bank employees, mall security, or any other retail businesses.
WHAT: With the holiday season upon us, the Boston Police Department will be offering a first-time ever fraud awareness seminar to the local business community. The goal of the seminar will be to assist attendees to identify counterfeit money, credit cards, traveler’s checks and credit card skimmers. In addition, the seminar will inform attendees of updates and changes to the law regarding these types of violations of the law, and how law enforcement can assist when these types of crimes occur.
