‘COPS FOR KIDS WITH CANCER’ GIFTS MASS GENERAL HOSPITAL $10,000WHO: The ‘COPS FOR KIDS WITH CANCER’ organization, Retired Boston Police officers, Retired Superintendent-in-Chief Robert Faherty, the Boston Police Motorcycle, Harbor Patrol & Mounted Units and children being treated for cancer at the Mass General Hospital.
WHAT: Retired Boston Police Superintendent-in-Chief Robert Faherty will present a donation, on behalf of the Cops For Kids With Cancer organization, to the Pediatric Oncology Ward of the Mass General Hospital in the amount of $10,000. In addition to the donation, the Boston Police Motorcycle Unit will escort the children, currently being treated for cancer at the Mass General Hospital, from hospital to the dock in South Boston, home of the Boston Police Harbor Patrol Unit. Once there, members of the Boston Police Harbor Unit will meet and greet the children before treating them to a boat ride around Boston Harbor. This is a special occasion and heart-warming event for all involved.
