Two Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested for Stealing $3.70Yesterday night around 10:20PM, officers from District D-4 (South End) were on patrol in the area of 1260 Boylston Street when they were approached by an apparent victim of a robbery who exclaimed to them that the “…they just turned the corner!”
Officers, realizing that the suspect had just been robbed immediately placed him in the cruiser to look for the suspects. The victim told officers that he was walking when he was approached from behind by two black males who stuck something in his back and took his money. Officers immediately broadcast the suspects’ description as they continue to drive around looking for the suspects.
As the officers were driving around, the suspect suddenly yelled to officers, “That’s them right there!” pointing to two individuals who were standing on the side of the street. Officers stopped the two individuals who the suspect positively identified as the ones who had robbed him, stating that one held something to his back while the other went through his pockets taking some loose change he had.
Officers detained the two individuals and discovered $3.70 in the pockets of the suspect who the victim said went through his pockets.
Both suspects, Adrian L. Padilla, 26, of Roxbury and Nelson C. Lebron-Summers, 18, of Boston were arrested and charged with Armed Robbery.
Gun Toting Suspect Arrested with Loaded Firearm
Last night around 11:36PM, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested suspect, Gregory Davis, 18, of Dorchester and charged him with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Trespassing and Carrying a Loaded Firearm.
Officers were in the area of Whitfield and Wheatland Streets when they observed two young males riding bicycles side by side. As officers neared the two, they observed one start pedaling away at a faster pace and as he did so noted that he took his hand from the handlebars and press it closely to his side as if supporting something in his waist.
Officers, having observed the suspect’s behavior believed they were in keeping with that of an armed individual. Officers attempted to pull up next to the suspect to further investigate when he suddenly took a right turn onto West Tremlett St, and went into the back yard of a house on Wheatland Street. Officers followed the suspect, and as they did so observed him drop his bicycle and jump over the fence. As officers exited their car to pursue the suspect, they saw him jump over the fence and heard what sounded like the sound of a metal object hitting the ground.
Officers broadcast the fact that the suspect had jumped the fence and he was stopped as he exited the yard to the front of Wheatland Street.
A search of the path that the suspect had taken after jumping off of his bike was retraced and officers located a loaded semi-automatic firearm. The semi was then placed under arrest and charged accordingly.
Four Victims Shot at 1187 Hyde Park Avenue
At approximately 2:08AM today, officers from District E-18 (Hyde Park) responded to 142 West St. in Hyde Park for multiple victims shot.
On arrival, officers located four victims that had been shot: victim #1 had been shot through the left hand, victim #2 had been shot on the left side of the stomach, victim #3 had been shot on the left thigh, and victim #4 had been shot on the inner left thigh. Three of the victims were transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and the fourth was transported to Beth Israel Hospital, all with non-life threatening injuries.
During preliminary investigation, officers learned that the victims were at Tedeschi’s located at 1187 Hyde Park Ave. when they were approached by 3-4 young males who started shooting at them. The victims fled in their car and subsequently called the police.

15 Elder Street Shooting Incident
Around 4:19AM this morning, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to Boston Medical center for a walk in shooting victim.
On arrival, officers learned that the victim had been driven to the hospital suffering from several gunshot wounds. Officers also learned that the incident had taken place on Elder Street in the Uphams corner section of Dorchester.
Officers returned to the scene of the incident, and there located ballistic evidence. During preliminary investigation, officers learned that the victim was operating his motor vehicle on elder St. when he was shot at by an unknown individual striking him two twice.
District B-2 detectives are currently investigating the facts and circumstances of this incident and ask that anyone with information contact them at (617) 343-4275.
