Boston Police Seeking WitnessesThis morning around 11:51AM, officers from District A-1 (Downtown Boston) responded to the intersection of North and Union Streets for a cardiac arrest.
On arrival, officers located the victim, a 40 year-old black male, who they learned had been assaulted by a suspect who fled the scene. The victim was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital with life threatening injuries where he was later pronounced.
The Boston Police Homicide Unit is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding the victim’s death and asks that anyone who may have been a witness to this incident, or has any information regarding this incident contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.
