UPDATE TO DEATH INVESTIGATION AT 56 TUTTLE STREETHOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED
At about 6:10am, on Thursday, January 17, 2008, officers from Area C-11 (Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person stabbed at 56 Tuttle Street. On arrival, officers located a white male, in his 20’s, suffering from an apparent stab wound. The victim was pronounced on the scene. The victim has since been identified as Daniel Yakovleff, 20, of Roxbury.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470.

HOMICIDE VICTIM IDENTIFIED
At about 7:35pm, on Friday, January 18, 2008, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to 139 Harvard Street in Dorchester for a report of a person shot. On arrival, officers located a 23-year-old black male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced shortly thereafter. The victim has since been identified as Tyrone Credle, 23, of Dorchester.
