At about 10:13pm, on Friday, November 23, 2007, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot in the area of 80 Walnut Avenue. On arrival, officers located an individual, a black male in his 20’s, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center suffering from life-threatening injuries. The victim has since succumbed to his injuries and been pronounced. The victim has been identified as Ruel Davis, 21, of Dorchester.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
