On June 26, 1986 The Boston Police responded to 1091 Boylston Street, Apt. # 28. At this time, they met the building maintenance man and were informed by him that the apartment was supposed to be newly rented. The victim (Mr. McCarthy) was found strangled inside the vacant apartment.
