iWATCH

The BRIC runs the program iWATCH, which helps Boston neighborhoods remain vigilant by educating the public about behaviors and activities that may have a connection to terrorism.

Strong partnerships between communities and police play a critical role in public safety. To learn more about iWATCH and about how to spot suspicious behaviors and activities, please view the video and the list of examples provided in our downloadable brochure. The iWATCH program focuses upon behaviors and activities, not individuals. Community members can report suspicious behaviors or activities that may indicate terrorist activity within the City of Boston by calling 1(866) 322-2284 or by filing an online form. Please note that this page is not designed to report emergencies; if you want to report an emergency, call 911.

Every report provides an important piece of the puzzle and will be reviewed by trained BPD personnel. The report will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. All information will remain confidential to the extent allowable by law. Remember that reporting false information to the police constitutes a crime.
