Ident-A-Youth

Ident-A-Youth is a voluntary program designed to provide parents and guardians of young children with an easy-to-access record of their child’s fingerprints, photo, and vital information to use in case their child goes missing.

When a child is missing, sharing identifying information such as photos and fingerprints with law enforcement is critical. Gathering this information ahead of time and keeping it on hand allows for prompt access in the event of an emergency.

We hope that residents will take full advantage of this initiative and be prepared to assist first responders with the safe return of their missing child. To enroll in Ident-A-Youth or receive more information, please contact your local Boston Police Department Community Service Office.
