BPD in the Community: Thank you to the Salvatore and Maria Pizzi Family Foundation for allowing BPD to help identify deserving young people in our City for scholarships again this year!
Commissioner Cox joined the Pizzi Foundation Board along with a number of officers who helped identify and nominate the 15 deserving recipients to celebrate receiving their scholarship and in celebrating their college of choice.
Over the past 12 years the foundation has given more than $80K to deserving young adults from Boston to help offset the cost of books and other needs associated with attending college.
Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients and best of luck as you embark on your college careers.
