Domestic Violence calls are among the most dangerous 911 calls that Boston Police Officers encounter every day. Yesterday, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) reinforced this when they assisted a male threatening to harm himself with a firearm after a family dispute. Boston EMS transported the male to a local hospital for evaluation and the police secured the firearm.
Officers will seek complaints against the male in the Roxbury District Court for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition.
