The City of Boston is honored to have been selected as a marquee event host for this year’s national Faith & Blue Weekend, which is scheduled from Friday, October 7 to Monday, October 10, 2022.
The nationally recognized Faith & Blue Initiative strengthens police-community bonds by uniting law enforcement, faith-based institutions and the community. The Boston Police Department has been an engaged, supportive and participating partner of this endeavor since its inception in 2020. Faith-based partnerships are a powerful motivator to addressing some of the communities most challenging issues, including addressing violence, quality of life issues and building trust.
On behalf of Mayor Michelle Wu, Police Commissioner Michael A. Cox, the men and women of the Boston Police Department, our Faith Based partners and local, state and federal officials, we invite you to participate in our 11 Police District events and the Boston Marquee Faith & Blue event on the evening of Monday, October 10, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lawn on D, 420 D Street in South Boston (see attached flyer). This will be a family friendly event with entertainment, refreshments and kids activities. We hope to see you at an event during Faith & Blue Weekend..
