At about 10:15pm, on Sunday, June 5, 2011, officers from Area E-5 (West Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person or persons shot in the area of 115 Brookway Road in Roslindale. On arrival, officers located two victims suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. One victim, a 23 year-old male, was pronounced deceased on the scene. The other victim, also a 23 year-old male, was transported with life threatening injuries to the Brigham & Women’s Hospital and is listed in critical condition. The deceased victim has been identified as Wilfredo Martinez, 23, of Medford.
