At about 10:15pm, on Sunday, May 29, 2011, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a call for a person shot in the area of Itasca & Messinger Streets. On arrival, officers located a 22 year-old male outside the above-mentioned location suffering from what appeared to be multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported from the scene to BMC and was later pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as Marc Edmond, 22, of Mattapan.
