On Saturday, May 21, 2011, officers from Area A-7 (East Boston), in association with the Kiwanis Club of East Boston, held their annual Bicycle Safety Day at the Salesian Boys and Girls Club in East Boston. This year\’s event, like last year\’s, was a huge success!!! Over 250 children attended this year\’s evert and all who attended were rewarded with a bicycle helmet. In addition to learing about bicycle safety, the kids in attendance also got a visit from the BPD\’s K-9 Unit.
